Spotmask Curvature: case study


Spotmask 1.10 comes with a highly superior curvature render pass.

Our plugin will render the curvature of your image by giving you incredibly precise convex and concave pixel information in both directions: the red channel saves convex, the green channel saves concave geometry deviations. You can easily seperate these two channels and mask the final image for many different effects in post-processing.

Additionally, you can get the “sample radius” to determine surface curvature, and you can chose your own colors for both channels (see menu screenshot).
